spacerQuestions for Discussion

  1. Are the concerns Moses expresses about being chosen by God to free the Israelites more indicative of a lack of faith in himself or in God?
  2. When God says that "I the Lord your God am an impassioned God," how should we take this statement given the illustrations that follow it?
  3. Why does Moses believe it would be a sign of God's favor if God allowed Moses to "know" him?
  4. Were he allowed to "know" God and live, would Moses then be equal to God? Greater than God? Why?
