Special screening of Masterpiece Classic's new EMMA

Don't miss a screening of Emma at the Harold Washington Library Center, Cindy Pritzker Auditorium on Tuesday, January 12, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Join us for the first hour of the film, followed by a panel discussion. Panelists include Dr. Elisabeth Lenckos, who teaches at the University of Chicago's Graham School and is academic advisor to the Jane Austen Society of North America; and Dr. Jonathan Gross, professor of English and director of the DePaul Humanities Center and a past speaker at the Jane Austen Society of North America. This event is cosponsored by WTTW, the Chicago Public Library, and the Great Books Foundation.
