Philadelphia Great Books Council Spring Institute: May 16, 2010

Register for the Philadelphia Great Books Council's 51st annual Spring Institute, which will be held on May 16, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The theme is "Adulteress or Harami (Bastard): Society's Scapegoats." Readings will include The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. Registration fee is $45 and includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks as well as copies of both books.
