Register for the fifth annual Tampa Bay Great Books Council Weekend. January 22 to 24. The conference is limited to a maximum of fifty participants. The conference will be held at the beautiful and intimate Longboat Key Hotel Resort.The weekend's theme will be "Books That Changed the World." The three reading selections for the event will be Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, Night by Elie Wiesel, and The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. The registration fee of $199 covers your three texts and discussions, a Friday evening reception/buffet that will feature a very special entertainment presentation, two full breakfasts, and a Saturday gourmet lunch on the beach.
Participants who choose to stay overnight at the hotel will enjoy a special in-season discount rate of $169 per room per night, single or double occupancy.
