The Great Books Foundation is participating in the City of Chicago's ''One Book, One Chicago.'' This program, which is presented by the Chicago Public Library, encourages area residents to read and discuss the same book. This fall, the selected title is Tom Wolfe's The Right Stuff, which tells the story of seven astronauts chosen for Project Mecury, the U.S.'s first manned space-flight project.
A Great Books Foundation discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 55 Old Orchard Center, Skokie, Illinois. Call 847-676-2230 for more information.
