San Francisco Great Books Council Poetry Weekend: November 15-16, 2008

The San Francisco Great Books Council's annual Poetry Weekend is November 15-16, 2008 at Westminster Retreat in Alamo, California. There will be three discussions of poetry and discussion themes are "On Being Human," "Poets on Poetry," and a Potpourri session with poems on a variety of subjects. The works of eighteen poets will be discussed, four of them former poets laureates of the United States (Billy Collins, Donald Hall, Robert Hass, and Ted Kooser) and a British poet laureate (Alfred Lord Tennyson).
