50th Asilomar Weekend, San Francisco Great Books Council, April 11-13, 2008

To be held at Asilomar Center, near Monterey California, sponsored by the
Great Books Council of San Francisco, April 11–13, 2008 (Friday evening to
Sunday, noon). There will be discussions of (1) selected poetry, (2) The
Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, (3) The Discourses by Niccolo
Machiavelli, and (4) Painting Churches, a play by Tina Howe.
