Great Books Chicago 2009: May 1-3, 2009

Great Books Chicago 2009, will take place May 1–3, 2009, at the Doubletree Hotel in Chicago’s Loop. The event's theme is  “Eye of the Beholder.” Activities will include attending a performance of Twelfth Night at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Other cultural events to be announced.

Planned readings are F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, selections from Loren Eiseley’s The Unexpected Universe, and Eudora Welty’s “A Still Moment.”
