Workshops For College Educators

The Great Books Foundation offers workshops for professors and instructors in college programs. Incorporating Shared Inquiry™ discussion methods into your classrooms will greatly enhance the discourse amongst students, with our anthologies providing interpretive questions for each text.

Workshops can be tailored to the needs of the group, but most are one-day sessions, six to eight hours of instruction.

The workshop includes:

  • Participation in a demonstration discussion
  • Guidelines for writing discussion questions
  • Tips for effective follow-up questions
  • Critiqued practice discussions
  • Advice on handling common difficulties
