Great Books Chicago 2010

April 30–May 2, 2010. Registration NOW OPEN!

Join us in the Windy City for a weekend of Great Books discussions and cultural events!

This year's theme is "Difficult Gifts." Blessings that come with a price.

Great Books Chicago producer, Gary Schoepfel, offers an explanation of this year’s theme. “Life’s blessings come packaged in many shapes and sizes. They are abundant and we sometimes overlook or take them for granted. Liberty, beauty, friendship, family, and life itself are some of our most precious blessings. Experience and thoughtful moments teach us that these gifts often come with a price. They are sometimes difficult gifts.”
