100-Level Courses: Getting Started

Your introduction to Shared Inquiry. In addition to the Core Courses, 100-level courses offer reviews and introductions for parents and teachers interested in reading across the curriculum.

The Core Sequence
The Core Sequence (courses 101, 102, and 103) is for leaders new to Shared Inquiry. Learn what Shared Inquiry is, how to prepare for and lead Shared Inquiry discussion, and how to conduct Great Books classroom activities. These courses are usually scheduled over two consecutive days.

200-Level Courses: Getting Better: Strengthening Shared Inquiry

Courses at the 200-level are designed to strengthen your questioning skills and maximize the impact of Shared Inquiry on student learning. All 200-level courses can be customized to address particular concerns, issues, and questions. Choose among the following half-day courses or design a professional development experience that meets your needs.

300-Level Courses Going for Great: Developing Expertise

In the 300-level courses, teachers learn to extend the benefits of Shared Inquiry to various genres of literature, content-area reading, and teacher coaching or mentoring. Courses are half day.
