Great Books professional development is based on the shared inquiry method of learning. In shared inquiry, teachers ask probing questions about the stories students read. Students answer with their own interpretations, supporting their ideas with evidence from the text.
Through our workshops and on-site consultations, teachers learn, practice, and then master the shared inquiry approach. When teachers use this approach in the classroom, students develop an excitement about learning, helping them achieve at their highest levels.
