What is Junior Great Books® Digital Classroom?

Junior Great Books Digital Classroom is a platform that seamlessly integrates Junior Great Books Teacher’s Editions, Student Books, and Reader’s Journals online. In this convenient platform, students will learn to read for deep comprehension, boost their critical thinking skills, collaborate through note-taking and discussion, and practice writing. Teachers can easily assign sessions, view student progress, and refer to national standards. Junior Great Books Digital Classroom offers single sign-on with ClassLink, Clever, and Google Classroom. Additionally, it is LTI-compliant, so it can be easily integrated with any LMS, including Canvas.

How do subscriptions work?

Customers can purchase Junior Great Books Digital Classroom for one-year, two-year, or three-year subscriptions. Multiyear subscriptions are also available at discounted rates. A perpetual license is not currently available.

Every student and teacher will need a license to access the platform. Licenses can be revoked at the end of a subscription year and reissued to new classes, teachers, or students at the start of a subscription renewal.

What are the different pricing options?

Classroom bundles are available for both print and digital materials or digital materials only, and they all include teacher training. Each classroom bundle is for 1 teacher and 30 students. Individual or Small-Quantity Licenses are also available. Please contact your K-12 Partnership Manage to discuss pricing options.

For a better user experience, we recommend using Google Chrome as your browser and working on a screen that’s at least as large as a tablet. There is no need to install any additional software.

Option 1: Self-Registration: Using the access code provided to you by the Great Books Foundation, you will create an account and have immediate access to your Junior Great Books Digital Classroom materials. The teacher will manually control the administration of courses and student accounts.

Option 2: Single Sign-On: Log in and gain instant access to Junior Great Books Digital Classroom materials using ClassLink, Clever, Google Classroom, or an LTI-compliant LMS such as Canvas.
