Cheers to the good people at Virginia’s Henrico County Public Library for hosting Talking Service, our reading and discussion program for veterans, for eight sessions starting this month. “We think this is a unique experience for veterans and the general public to share and connect over a very special piece of literature,” said Henrico County Library spokeswoman Kara Rothman. The new program will be facilitated by Fairfield Area Library Manager—and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran—Mike Hatchett, and will be the first time Talking Service is being implemented in the metro Richmond area. Talking Service in Virginia is made possible by the the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. Thanks to the Henrico Citizen for publishing an article to publicize the program!
